About Surface Treatment

Surface Treatment is a Belgian-Dutch company that specializes in the surface treatment of aluminum products. Behind this world of precision work lies a great deal of repetitive manual labor, and that’s exactly where A-kwadraat steps A-kwadraat . Whereas we used to work primarily in our own production facilities, we now spend most of our time on-site at Surface Treatment. This allows their employees to focus entirely on their core tasks, while we take care of all the preparatory and support work.

Our team steps in wherever needed: 

• We place aluminum products on shelves; 
• protect parts during processing;
• They take them off again afterward. 

Sometimes it involves small, delicate parts; other times, it involves larger pieces that require a great deal of strength and experience.

A partnership that grows alongside the team

The collaboration began even before Julie Ooms started working at Surface Treatment. “It started with a visit to A-kwadraat’s open house. That’s when the discussions began. At first, the products were A-kwadraat to A-kwadraat , and for the past year, a team from A-kwadraat has also been working A-kwadraat our facility.”

As the production space expanded, more activities could be carried out on-site. Julie: “At first, one person joined in to see how it worked. Then a team of four started, working on a rotation schedule. A-kwadraat people who are a good fit for our team, with the right skills, such as manual dexterity and strength. It’s wonderful to see how the team is blossoming and taking on more and more tasks independently. They’re learning to handle larger components and gaining experience in our business.”

“At first, there was some apprehension,” Julie says . “Our employees weren’t quite sure what to expect. But we soon realized that the A-kwadraat team is A-kwadraat independent and reliable.” 

The great thing about this partnership is that our team at A-kwadraat is A-kwadraat growing alongside Surface Treatment. We’re learning their processes, understanding the complexity of each product, and ensuring that everything runs smoothly and carefully. This allows Surface Treatment’s employees to focus entirely on their core tasks, while A-kwadraat handles A-kwadraat repetitive tasks.

“A year later, the A-kwadraat are viewed entirely as colleagues,” Julie continues. “They’re part of the daily routine and even attend company parties, and the interaction is much more personal and warm than before.”
