Spotlight on Sustainable Business Practices

After winning the “Voka Charter for Sustainable Entrepreneurship” for the fifteenth time this spring, our long-standing efforts in the area of sustainability were highlighted twice more this fall.

Not only were we nominated for the Sustainable Entrepreneurship Award, but we also received the prestigious SDG Champion certificate. Both of these recognitions are directly related to the expansion of our mission.

Working Together to Build an Inclusive and Active Region

Sustainability—and social sustainability in particular—is very important to us. We want to help build an inclusive society. Our workforce is becoming increasingly diverse. We want to lower the barrier to paid work for more and more groups.

The impact we aim to create is to increase the employment rate among relevant stakeholders in our region.

We do this in several ways:

• With our current target audience, we are focusing even more on education, training, and professional development so that people can advance within the company or seek opportunities elsewhere. For example, by emphasizing 21st-century skills.
• In collaboration with VDAB and local governments, we are reaching out to new target groups . Here, too, the goal is to facilitate internal or external career advancement.
• We offer our expertise and know-how in the field of guidance, and we are building partnerships with organizations that share our goals.
• We work in collaboration with our clients, for example, to address the challenges of the circular economy or the labor shortage in the healthcare sector.

So we are evolving from social enterprise for customized work a job placement agency.
